Currently, I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Purdue University, IN, USA, working with Professor Giulio Caviglia. Prior to this, I held a Post-Doctoral position at Sabancı University under the mentorship of Professor Ayesha Asloob Qureshi, and an AARMS Post-Doctoral Fellow position at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada under the mentorship of Professor Sara Faridi. Before that, I was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, India.
I completed my PhD at Chennai Mathematical Insitute in Chennai, India, under the supervision of Professor Manoj Kummini. My PhD thesis is on the graded minimal free resolution of Hibi rings and Hilbert series of algebras associated to polyominoes. I received my master’s degree (MSc in Mathematics) from Chennai Mathematical Insitute in Chennai, India.
My mathematical interests broadly include Commutative Algebra and Combinatorics. I utilize the tools of combinatorics to study the fundamental structure of algebraic objects.
